The institute was established in 2003 by Jagannath Gupta Memorial Education Society, which has been an academic leader for over 25 years with higher educational institutes of academic excellence in Delhi/NCR and Rajasthan. The society has been blazing a trail in higher and professional education and has also established two Universities, one in Jaipur, Rajasthan and other in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Since inception, the society has been keenly conscious of its responsibilities towards innovations in pedagogy, (wo)manpower requirements of the industry, and community outreach. In keeping with these over-riding concerns, society has been laying emphasis on grooming leaders who can be assets to both the industry and society. The close academia-industry interaction at JIMS manifests not only in constant reviews of performance but also in restructuring the academic curricula. Besides, the Community Outreach activities undertaken by JIMS Rotaract Club offer a window of opportunity for students to work as leaders and team members on various community welfare projects. What is more, all these activities are process-driven and in conformity with the highest standards of academic excellence.
